Abstract
A novel adaptive reduced-complexity maximum likelihood sequence detection (MLSD) receiver based on per-survivor processing (PSP) algorithm and decision feedback algorithm (DF) over fast fading mobile channel with BPSK modulation is proposed in this paper. The adaptive channel tracking is implemented by a novel simplified Kalman filter bank with very short pilot tone. Computer simulations show that this receiver is a good trade-off between the performance and complexity on fast fading mobile channels
