Abstract :
The wireless communication has led to the increased demand and relying on the batteries. For continuous striving on the low power operating in semiconductors and other technologies, batteries could be put back by the stand in sources involving the generation of the DC by RF energy harvesting techniques. In this paper we are modeling a CMOS harvester circuit and its analysis is realized at lower power levels present in the environment. Improvement in conversion efficiency of RF to DC energy is bestowed by carrying out the methodology of the antenna and harvester circuit co-design. For weaker RF energy sources, it is very difficult for harvesting energy over a broader frequency range. We are designing a single band (around 900 MHz) CMOS harvester circuit and fabricating it using TSM 0.09 μm process. The simulation work and the calculated results show that this CMOS harvester circuit design at very lower input power as low as -19dB obtain the efficiency over 10% for frequency around 900MHz. The output of this CMOS harvester circuit design is approximately 1V DC that is adequate to recharge a battery and hence forming an unceasing wireless communication.
