Abstract
In SW (SW), Ontology is an important layer architecture that is develop with the help of web ontology language (OWL) and makes the web semantic. OWL is designs and creates metadata that required for developing SW applications. It is an essential part of SW. In this paper we design an education and non-education domain ontology framework which is developed by using protégé an ontology editor tool developed by Stanford University. We also show the output for both ontologies by using pellet reasoner based on the proposed ontology frameworks. We analyze from our result that OWL improves the inference compare to Resource Description Framework (RDF) and Resource Description Framework Schema (RDFS). OWL also provides more relevant information compare to RDF and RDFS and OWL precision and recall is better compare to RDF and RDFS. In our paper we used Pellet reasoner that retrieve relevant information from the education and non education ontology and protégé 4.3 alpha tool for the construction of education and non education domain ontology.
