Abstract :
In this paper, a printed-circuit implementation of broadband negative-refractive- index medium is proposed. The structure has a negative-index bandwidth of 48% and has an effective relative permittivity and permeability equal to -1 at 2.45 GHz. An analytical model for this structure is also presented, based on multiconductor transmission-line analysis.
