Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the MC effect on the performance of OFDM-based MIMO systems in an indoor line-of-sight (LoS) environment using real MIMO measurement. Our results indicate that MC degrades MIMO-OFDM capacity in the measured environment, not because of increased channel correlation, but because of the fundamental impact on antenna radiation pattern that reduces total channel gain.
