Abstract :
The preparation of diamond coatings by electrophoresis/dielectrophoresis from suspension of diamond powder has a number of advantages as compared to commonly used CVD methods. It is a room temperature process requiring very simple facilities and minimal time. In this paper, we present results on the fabrication of cold cathodes and FED prototypes by using shock-synthesized nanodiamond (ND) powders.
