Abstract :
A novel algorithm for estimating the rotational parameters in inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging of maneuvering target is proposed in this paper. It is assumed that the target is rotating with uniform angular acceleration, and the received signal in a range bin can be considered as multi-component polynomial phase signal (PPS). The initial rotational angular velocity and angular acceleration can be determined by the coefficients of the PPS, and the results of real data demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
