Abstract

The process from OEM to ODM and then to OBM is a kind of process from importation, digestion, copy to self-directed innovation in fact, as well as a kind of process of technology accumulation and technology learning. The innovation in most enterprises with emerging economy started from OEM, then gradually turned into ODM and OBM after accumulating certain capital and technology. Companies should accumulate their own R&D abilities gradually during the period of producing, form their property rights based, then on this basis do self-directed innovation and crate their own brand, accomplish the process development from OEM to ODM and OBM.
