Abstract
In this paper, a partial H-plane filter with attenuation pole is proposed. Basically, the proposed filter is compact waveguide filter because it is implemented by partial H-plane waveguide and designed by quarter wavelength resonators. The transmission zeros out of bandpass are obtained by admittance inverters with attenuation resonance without any extra space. The filter is designed in H-band and measured results are in good agreement with simulated results.
