  • Abstract
    Significant differences between the evolution versus frequency of the partial discharges and breakdown processes were emphasized, suggesting that the breakdown analysis, if used as unique method in quality assessment of some certain insulating materials, proves to have limits in accuracy and may even lead to errors in results interpretation.
