Abstract
The performance of MIMO system depends highly on the accuracy of channel state information and the inter-cell interference is one of the major restrictive factors influencing on the performance degradation in LTE systems. In this paper we propose a new method to work out the desired channel from the received signal. According to the similar principle, each interference channel is also obtained simultaneously, providing the precondition for the downlink beamforming. We also show through simulations that beamforming algorithms using our proposed method have the potentials to reduce the inter-cell interference greatly and improve the performance of the system significantly.
