Abstract
A hybrid course curriculum design and implementation based on CDIO approach to engineering education is presented. The course is “fundamentals of electric circuit” for undergraduates of electrical engineering and automation program. The relation of the university motto is analyzed and mapped to CDIO directly. The curriculum design conducts CDIO ideas to classroom teaching, lab experiment and other training activities of the course. A course project of CDIO approach is conducted. The detail of the course project is described. Investigation projects are encouraged. Ad hoc principle of evaluating student for the course is set up. The implementation of the design shows good impact to teaching and learning of the course.
