Abstract
Shunt active power filter with LCL output filter involves the tracking of transient current with high frequency harmonic components. The current control brings some complexity. This paper presents a kind of current control algorithm, which combines the triangle carrier comparison method with hysteresis control method. At the same time, the automatic self-correction of the grid-side disturbance while controlling current is discussed. The proposed algorithm is characterized by fast tracking of harmonic current, small computation capacity and easy implementation for engineering applications. Simulation and experiment verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
