Abstract :
This paper proposes a simplified zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) PWM three-level converter with two clamping diodes. The converter achieves ZVS for all the power switches, and eliminates the voltage oscillation applied on rectifier diodes resulting from reverse recovery. The experimental results are presented to verify the operation principle of the proposed converter
