Abstract :
E-commerce has played a significant role in national economy with the rapid development of information technology. And the volume of global data is increasing at a surprising speed every day. How to convert the plentiful data into needed information of decision-makers and raise the whole level of e-commerce have become a new study direction concerned widely by government, enterprises and software developers. Business intelligence is one of the most active and exciting research areas in data warehouse, on-line analytical processing and data mining. This paper intends to analyze the current situation and give some suggestions about business intelligence theoretical research and practical application in China.
