Abstract
A streamer discharge model is developed to analyze the characteristics of a pulsed positive streamer discharge for point-to-plane electrodes filled with humid air at atmospheric pressure. The process of chemical species production is studied using simulated streak pictures. The streak pictures clearly show that the primary streamer and secondary streamer have different roles for charged-particle production and subsequent active-species production.
