Abstract :
We describe the design of highly stable gas-dielectric capacitors which can be produced in a calibration laboratory cost-effectively. It has two interleaving stacks of circular disks made of stainless-steel. The temperature coefficient of capacitance is +12-14 ppm/°C between 18 and 28°C. Such capacitor could be used as a high precision measuring cell or as a reference capacitance standard. Stability of better than 1 ppm over days at 23.0±0.1°C was achieved
