Title :
Precision guidance against manoeuvring targets
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
An algorithm for target manoeuvre estimation based upon the identification and tracking of salient features in a target image has been developed. It shows some promise. It has a facility for passive ranging, which is something of a breakthrough for missile guidance. There seems to be scope for developing the ideas which led to the algorithm. In the long term, they could form the basis of a solution to the problem of accurately intercepting unpredictably manoeuvring targets
