Abstract :
Many developing countries are facing the problem of unbalanced medical resources, especially lack of medical staff and relatively backward medical environment in extensive rural areas. This situation can be improved by Medical-Expert-System (MES). However, this system has many such problems as great difficulty in designing, high investment costs and trouble in managing and maintaining. Therefore, the type of small-scale rural MES is put forward. It works under the environment of Virtual Box Virtual Machine (VM). With the technologies of ASP.NET and AJAX, the MES can be designed with such features as small-sized, medium difficulty and fast-speed. Besides, through the virtual environment of Virtual Box, the services for outsiders can be provided to achieve convenient and safe management. Practices have proved that this system makes much progress.
