Abstract :
This paper describes a procedure for robust stabilization of uncertain time-delay systems using variable structure control. The design methodology takes advantage of the output variables and the ability to reject “matched” and “unmatched” perturbations. The type of switching manifold used does not allow for a reduction of order as it is the case with most variable structure systems. An estimate of region of asymptotic stability is given based on two types of control laws
