Abstract
The phase contrast imaging (PCI) may produce higher resolution and reveal more microstructure information which especially adapt to light element. The study aims to evaluate the meaning of the PCI in soft tissue imaging through animal organizations experiment. At 4W1A line in the BSRF, the tissues coming from animal were study, the PCI techniques including in-line holography and DEI were performed, and the image contrast and resolution were analyzed. Lots of microstructure and information including the structure and function basal unit such as hepatic lobules and renal glomeruli were founded which can´t be revealed in the convention X-rays imaging, and the images resolution reach to micrometer grade by calculation. The Phase contrast imaging shows the minute change by improving greatly images resolution and good contrast.
