Abstract :
The purposes of this study are developed a servo drive system with fuzzy neural network (FNN) for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system based on digital signal processor (DSP). First, a field-oriented PMSM drive system which consists of a hysteresis-band current-controlled PWM VSI, a coordinate translation and sin/cos lookup table generation are implemented using DSP control system. Next, the FNN controller is introduced to control the speed of the PMSM via implementation of DSP control system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes is demonstrated by some simulated and experimental result.
