Abstract :
Phased high-intensity focused ultrasound (P-HIFU) has provided a new way for non-invasive treatment of tumor. A simulation study of thermal distribution in focal region with different ultrasound intensity and heating time was carried out in this paper. Results show that in order to ablate the target more accurately without overheating normal tissue appropriate ultrasound intensity and heating time can be chosen in HIFU treatment plan.
