The research on design method of special fixture based on pro/engineer

Using Pro/E software, taking an unloading mechanism of special fixture as the example, design methods of special fixture were studied. From the three-dimensional modeling of the part, the establishment of mechanism models, the motion simulation, the assembly animation and other aspects, design methods of special fixture were discussed. The research dedicated that designing the special fixture which was based on the platform of Pro/E software may shorten the development and the design cycle, reduce the development cost and improve the assembly efficiency.
