Abstract
The longitudinal motion of wave-piercing catamaran can be easily affected by random waves and become rapid when running at high speed. Besides, there are nonlinear factors and parameter perturbation in the mathematical model, strategy of designing pitching/heaving motion H∞ robust fuzzy control is proposed based on huge wave piercing catamaran T-S fuzzy model. Both the proof of related theorem and solving method of linear matrix inequalities are given. Thus the controller could well solve the influence of nonlinear factor and meet the system H∞ robust performance requirements at the same time. Computer numerical simulation shows that the designed controller could efficiently reduce pitching/heaving motion of wave piercing catamaran and have good control effect.
