Abstract :
We have developed an compact ultra-low time-jitter pulse generator using LD and self-pulse feedback mechanism. Sub-picosecond low time jitters are successfully observed at any modulation range of between 0.5- and 3-GHz. The pulse generator´s size and cost are similar to conventional LD module.
