  • Abstract
    Fractional calculus theory has recently gained more attention and widely promoted the use of fractional calculus in various fields. Fractional order control technology becomes the focus in the fields of engineering control. Fractional order PID controller has five parameters. The additional parameters make the controller more flexible and robustness. Aiming at a special model for a practical servo system, fractional order control system is designed based on the Flat phase method in this paper. In order to compare with the simulation experiment, an integer-order PID controller is also designed. Simulation results show that the fractional order controller has better robustness and higher control precision.
