Abstract
In this paper we introduce a compact multi band pass filter for different wireless and RFID applications. The proposed filter has achieved four different passbands at 1.1 GHz for WLAN, 2.3-2.5 GHz for WiFi/RFID, 3.5-3.6 GHz for WiMAX, and 4.9-5.8 GHz for RFID and all upper standard WiMAX applications. The designed filter is based on a new configuration of microstrip open stub impedance loading. The filter design is discussed and its performance is introduced using both circuit and full wave simulations. Moreover, the experimental results were introduced for validation of the filter design. The filter has the advantages of compact size; its size is 60X50 mm2.
