  • Abstract
    Aiming at investment, macro control and related demands of waterway transport market of dangerous goods in the Three Gorges Area, first, the actual state of the waterway transport market of dangerous goods in the area is analyzed, which includes the number and range of waterway transport companies on dangerous goods in the area, the number, type and deadweight of dangerous goods traffic carriers, category, flowing direction of dangerous goods, and dangerous goods freight volume and turnover volume in the area in the past five years. Secondly, the demands on waterway transport of dangerous goods in the Three Gorges Area are studied by market research, which focused on the waterway transport demands of dangerous goods in Changshou, Fuling and Wanzhou chemical industry parks. Then based on the mentions above, the forecast quantity and development trend of the waterway transport market in the area is proposed. The market prediction would be used to guide the strategic development for waterway transport companies, and shipping capacity approval control and decision making of macro adjustment by the National Government.
