The Comparison of Policy Supports of States´ Carbon Finance Development Among Countries and Implications to China

This paper aims to provide some suggestions to the Chinese carbon finance development by comparing the foreign countries´ policy supports to the carbon finance. It takes angles from the following aspects: the definition of carbon finance, the current developments of global carbon finance. Then the paper summarizes the characters of carbon finance developments from different countries based on the countries from Kyoto Protocol Annex I and others in the world. The paper compares the developments in the following aspects, legislations of climate changing and carbon finance, policies towards carbon finance development and the platform for the carbon trading. Finally, the paper gives some suggestions to the Chinese carbon finance developments.
