Abstract
High speed and high capacity transport networks are necessary for providing multimedia applications. The optical networks are the most popular solutions. In this paper, we present a simulation model for describing a priority switching strategy in an all optical packet switch based on two fiber loop buffer memories (FLBM), controlled by a strategy of priority switching. We study this model in accordance with noise constraints for its blocking performance
