Semantics based Event-driven Publish/Subscribe Service-Oriented Architecture

The rapid progress of Information and Communication Technology has dissolved many technical and social barriers. Publishing, storing, updating and even accessing information through wireless devices is no longer a significant problem. As information increases, finding, sharing and integrating information from distributed heterogeneous sources become a major issue. The challenge is no longer in providing information anytime anywhere but in providing context and location aware personalized information. We need a mechanism that allows to collect and to fuse the information according to the requirements of user. In this paper, we have proposed a semantics based event-driven publish/subscribe services-oriented architecture to facilitate the seamless and meaningful information integration and interoperation of distributed and heterogeneous Web hosted services and to deliver personalized context and location-based information on wireless resources constrained devices
