Abstract :
This paper will give you an understanding of the design consideration and cost savings that can be achieved with improved insulation systems capable of operating at higher stress voltage. The improved thinner ground wall design results in a significant reduction in the amount of insulation, core steel, magnet wire and rotor conductor needed to build the stator and rotor assembly and also reduce copper and core losses and improve motor efficiency
