  • Abstract
    The patients of cardiovascular diseases is being on the rise due to the environmental changes and other several causes so that the death toll due to the diseases belongs to the big 3 causes of adults death in Korea. To be helpful to the prevention of the heart diseases, we hope to diagnose the cardiovascular diseases via the web applying the examination by the eye among the diagnostic skills of oriental medicine to the preventive activities with IT technology. In this article, we will propose the methodology that conduct the color compensation of the face image capture and extract the facial region and then extract the five sensory organs including the nose area in the whole target system. Since the colors of the libs and the center part of the forehead are the critical factors to diagnose heart diseases, we will discuss how to extract these areas automatically and to extract the colors of these in this article.
