Abstract :
The process of acquiring and analyzing laboratory data is undergoing a rapid change due to the advent of new data-processing technologies. The author describes the automation of an adjuvant arthritis assay of inflammation using client/server technology. He describes both the specific capabilities of the automated assay, and the characteristics and potential capabilities of client/server development for laboratory automation
