Abstract :
The data-management task in wireless sensor network (WSN) should be performed such that limited resources like memory, processing and power are utilized very efficiently. An event based approach for management of data is the most appropriate one for WSN because only those events that are of interest to the user or application are monitored and handled by the nodes in the WSN. The model proposed in this paper for managing the request for data and events and responses that are provided to the users who set the request in P2P-WSN is publish/subscribe based. In this model the request for data is set as ´subscriptions´ into the nodes WSN and responses are provided as ´publications´. This model provides ability to perform actuation in the WSN. The subscriptions and publications of events are done recursively in the WSN so that large-scale networks can be handled and the data-management task distributed within the network.
