Abstract :
This paper introduces a new multicarrier scheme which blends two different methods, code division multiplex (CDM) and cyclic delay diversity (CDD), to deliver a system outperforming the techniques currently in use. The new scheme, termed MC-CDM-CDD, would be a suitable candidate for the next generation of wireless indoor networks. Simulation results using the IEEE 802.11a specifications serve to illustrate the benefits of the proposed scheme under realistic conditions.
