In spite of all the social processes and shift in gender patterns both men and women display stereotyped concepts of their roles, positions, status, mode of life and career strategies. The stereotypes are imprinted on personal values and consequently influence the way of realization of personal potential in life and profession. Historically engineering is considered to be entirely masculine career. Therefore is may be assumed that girls who choose technological education have some peculiarities of value system that determines their motivation for engineering career.
