Abstract
The objective of this work was to study the value-add in the engineer programs, with information of the Institute for the Evaluation of Education Quality (ICFES). With this propose we adjusted multilevel model. The variables included was gender, sociocultural and socioeconomic level, previous performance (score test SABER 11o) and tuition of the university. The results show the previous test score was the significative variable. Finally, we do the reflections about the high education and previous performance in the prediction of the undergraduate results.
