Abstract
A complete wideband radio channel sounding campaign performed at 38.95 GHz is presented in this paper. A sounder based on correlation of pseudorandom maximal length sequences has been used, but introducing some novelties in the classical scheme of this kind of sounders. Different antenna pattern and polarization have been combined with three groups of environments, indoor, outdoor and indoor-outdoor, to increase the variability of the channel characterization obtained. Wideband estimated parameters achieved show qualitatively good expectative for the use of high data rate applications in this frequency band even in indoor conditions.
