Abstract :
Telecommunication is one of the fastest growing industries. Yemen Telecom (YT) always tries to follow the modern technologies taking into consideration the technical issues, economical factors, customers demands and satisfaction,...etc. This paper illustrates the migration scenarios to migrate Yemen Telecom legacy network into the latest technology, Next Generation Network (NGN).The best migration scenario(hybrid from PSTN replacement and NGN overlay scenarios) and the migration priority of YT TDM switches to the newest technologies NGN is determined. This paper explains the migration process of the TDM switches in 22 governorate.
