  • Abstract
The most important reason for the human walking analysis is to identify the differences between the patient´s walking and a normal walking, and so determine the causes of abnormalities. This procedure needs a detailed knowledge of the normal human locomotion, as well as the biomechanics of orthesis and prothesis. This work intends to give a tool for the study of normal and abnormal human walking, through the generation of 3D dynamic images from a patient. The images are generated using the active triangulation principle with structured light. Its possible to know the spatial position of the interesting points in an image sequence, this points designed by the specialist during a gait cycle.
