Scalable link lifetime estimating mechanism in Mobile ad hoc network

In order to guarantee the quality of service (QoS) of multimedia applications in Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET), the stable end to end path should be established effectively. An effective link lifetime estimation mechanism is introduced, which can also be used to select the better path in the route discovery process. Simulations show that with the estimating interval selected reasonably, our mechanisms can provide accuracy estimating results for link lifetime.
