Abstract
A method-of-moment (MoM) technique is presented for the rigorous analysis of multi-layer reflectarrays using microstrip patch elements of variable size. The electric field integral equation (EFIE) in mixed potential form is discretized using Rao-Wilton-Glisson or rectangular basis functions, respectively. The required Green´s functions are evaluated by Felsen´s equivalent transmission line method. For the efficient MoM computation, the adaptive integral method (AIM) is applied.
