  • Abstract
A new era computer product has been studied from an environmental viewpoint. A “teardown” exercise was carried out in order to provide knowledge about environmentally conscious products (ECP) for the future, ECP concepts were proposed in a “Studio Mobius” project. These concepts, focused on “longevity of usage”, provide generic rules for developing computer products in the planning phase. An “Evolution” computer has been manufactured as an experiment. This computer enables customers to built their own systems by stacking the modules they need
