  • Abstract
Based on the body surface potential maps of a large validated normal group, sex and age dependence of the QRST integral maps was estimated. In the age decade limited subgroups of males and females the average QRST integral map patterns were visually rather stable, but an age dependent change was revealed by the relevant correlation matrix. Significant amplitude difference between the age matched males and females were observed with a slow decrease in potential values with the growing age, especially for males. The skewed conditional probability densities of the non-dipolarity indices predict modest discriminative properties. A systematic study was launched to adjust the action potential parameters of a piecewise homogeneous numerical depolarization and repolarization model
