Abstract
Based on organic organization, the nature of third-party logistics from the perspective of strategic service level is defined firstly in this paper. Then, taking service as the key factor and only advantage in competition, we propose the definition of "strategic service", analyze the nature of strategic service, clarify the difference between strategic service and service strategies, and build framework of strategic service for third-party logistics and construct strategic service mode of third-party logistics. This study finds that strategic service has strategic importance for third-party logistics, and our conclusions bring new management ideas to third-party logistics in dynamic environment and benefit the whole supply chain operation.
