Abstract
In this paper an example of PSpice modelling and simulation of a 160 W push-pull DC/DC power converter with 100 kHz switching frequency is presented. The simulation here is used as a tool for design optimisation. In more detail, an advanced application of PSpice has been performed in order to identify parasitic effects which may strongly compromise the power converter´s healthy operation. PSpice simulation and experimental results for the designed converter are presented
