Abstract :
We present vacuum metal-ceramic electron beam triode GMI 30/25 with high slope of the grid characteristic, wide intervals of admitted values of the grid current, cut-off voltage and heater power, the long service life. This tube continues series of high reliable pulsed triodes with short start time for use in wide class of microwave devices with grid control. The device consists of arc plasma oxide cathode of cylindrical form, molybdenum coaxial grid with longitudinal slots placed at the distance 400 mum from the emitter, and copper anode with radiator. Triode produces pulsed anode current up to 30 A, pulse length up to 50 musec. To decrease grid current the cathode has spacers without emission cover made between emitters, which serve as focusing electrodes
