Abstract :
Preliminary results of our investigations of sampling rate reduction in software noise radar are presented. A possibility of drastic reduction in the sampling rate has been shown when applying signal sampling to sum or product of the reference and radar return rather than to those signals separately. We have shown that this approach is particularly effective when there is no need in high range resolution.
